This is my op-ed titled “Does the MOU mean Alberta should be quiet and be a good colony?" Ottawa has made Canada un-investable. No pipeline company is going to put billions of investor capital at risk without government backstops to de-risk the un-investable environment.
Fathers have a sacred duty to be a good example, to act with integrity, to respect and be kind to the mother of their children, and to speak the truth in love. Sometimes it can be hard to be a father and none of us are perfect, but we succeed when we keep trying and loving.
Yesterday it was good to attend The City of Red Deer Mayor's Recognition Awards. It was great to see friends, many men and women, young and old, recognized for their service to our community. Congratulations!
I asked questions about fairness for Albertans from Ottawa, and as you can hear from the responses, nothing is really changing. Thinking Alberta will get fairness from Ottawa is false hope. Hope is found elsewhere.
It is wrong to aid and abet those suffering in addiction to remain in addiction. The better way is recovery, loving and supporting men and women to become free from addiction.
It is good to see light shone on so called ‘harm reduction’, which is a misnomer and a lie. It is good our last City council listened to the pubic, and to common sense, and voted to get rid of the drug consumption site in Red Deer.

Today it was great to join friends @AdrianaLaGrange and members of City of Red Deer and Red Deer County councils to see construction areas for the transformative $1.8 BILLION expansion of the Red Deer Regional Hospital.
This is exciting for Red Deer and Central Alberta!
It was good to join Premier @ABDanielleSmith and @UCPCaucus MLAs for our Alberta government caucus retreat in beautiful Crowsnest Pass!
Thank you to Chelsae Petrovic for being a great host MLA!

2/2-This is our new incoming elected board for 2026, all of whom share a love of Alberta, desiring freedom and prosperity for Albertans. In this upcoming year, we will see good things in Red Deer!
1/2-Last night was the annual general meeting of the Red Deer South UCP constituency association. Congratulations to our most excellent board for a most excellent 2025 year!

On Remembrance Day I joined hundreds of individuals and families at the Servus Arena for Red Deer's annual Remembrance Day service hosted by Red Deer's Legion honoring those who are, and have, served in our armed forces in the defence of freedom.

2/2-which was causing harm and interfering with this. While opinions may differ, thank you to Red Deer Advocate, who chose their title for the oped, for sharing this with Red Deer constituents.
1/2-This my op-ed that I had titled "Ending the strike and resuming school is Good for Alberta". Premier Danielle Smith was correct to consider the rights of 740k Alberta children to get an education and end the strike of The Alberta Teachers' Association

2/2-And this strike was interfering with this right, and after 3 weeks, was causing harm to children and families. Ending the strike and resuming school is good for Alberta.
1/2-Attached is my 3 page letter to constituents on ending the ATA union strike and resuming school. Any right of a union to strike is not absolute and must be balanced against, in this case, the right of about 740,000 Alberta children to get an education.
