I was flying through the Yukon on my way from Alaska to Idaho, when we hit a nasty thunderstorm.

Had to land on the side of the highway.

Got picked up by some Albertan sheep hunters who let us stay at their camp.

Same time, a Russian kid flying an old Stinson lost his engine and landed on the highway a mile up from us.

Went and picked him up too.

We all went to the hotspring for a dip, got very intoxicated around the campfire, and the next morning we took off with +1 Russian kid in the plane.

Dropped him off in a farm field outside Calgary, he walked to a town and caught a cab to the airport.
