Excited to share our study @AJKDonline, revealing the underrepresentation of LMICs in 20 years of CKD drug RCTs (1,366 trials, 301,158 participants). We found a strong positive correlation between RCT participation and the Human Development Index, health expenditure, and R&D expenditure. As a Mexican medical graduate, I’m hopeful this work draws attention to the need for more inclusive global research. https://t.co/oE2QAEtC03
