As Acting Mayor, Mr. Duggan appointed Councillor Curtis as Acting Deputy Mayor.

The Municipal Government Act allows for a by-election date to be set not later than 6 months from the occurrence of the vacancy. Council will determine the by-election date and advise residents.

The Special Council meeting to discuss the adoption of the 2023-2024 municipal budget that was scheduled for Thursday, 23 March has been postponed until next week. We will post the new meeting date later.
