@SevillaFC_ENG @myoldmansaid @AstonVilla Thank you and respect to Sevilla for keeping your player’s memory alive after such a devastating bereavement.

[Alan Bravey @Albravey]

@OllieHolt22 “..if they want supporters to believe what they are watching is fair, it will not happen by magic….”
Well they could start by making sure that refereeing and review decisions don’t come down heavily in favour of the legacy clubs.

[Alan Bravey @Albravey]

@theawayfans Will she be able to get them to do a simple thing like passing the ball to a player in the same colour shirt or not losing the ball in vulnerable situations?

[Alan Bravey @Albravey]

@EthanLevins2 So, having caused the massed migrations from the middle east by your ill considered wars and having appeased Putin, the U.S. is going to do what it did in Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraq and bugger off and leave everyone else to deal with the consequences.

[Alan Bravey @Albravey]

@AmericaFirstCon “British” conquest! This highlights not only a lack of historical knowledge but also a sad ignorance of geographical detail.

[Alan Bravey @Albravey]

@TheDuke1 Who had heard of Morgan Rogers before Emery spotted him and brought him to Villa?

[Alan Bravey @Albravey]

@THFCFardinSami That’s the debit column from incomings, now look at the credit column from sales.

[Alan Bravey @Albravey]

@_petey_pan @ga11agbon Thank you for your continuing interest in Aston Villa.

[Alan Bravey @Albravey]

@NorthBankNadim Free transfer.

[Alan Bravey @Albravey]

@topical_storm It will be interesting to see what they can do under a good manager. The ones they have been labouring under so far weren’t exactly elite standard.

[Alan Bravey @Albravey]

@JermzAFC @MrBrum43 Thanks. We’ll be fine in the end. Not the relative heights we’ve met under Unai but the rebuild has begun.
Oh, and good fortune to Konsa. No hard feelings about him from me. Good servant.
Give us a wave on Monday.

[Alan Bravey @Albravey]

@JermzAFC @MrBrum43 No you’re right on your first point. Too defeatist. I’ve seen it all in my time over 60 years. Down to the3rd div and back. Seen us win every trophy going.
Looks like another dodgy spell for now.
I accept the trials of the game.
I still think he’ll come up trumps.

[Alan Bravey @Albravey]

@JermzAFC @MrBrum43 Bad day at the office. Steaming wasn’t he? Let’s face it, on that showing, if Arsenal don’t stick 6 past us with no reply it’s a fail.
We keep the faith. He’ll get it right.
Elite managers do, in spite of slight hiccups.

[Alan Bravey @Albravey]

@avfc_stef They probably said the same about Sunderland signing Granit Xhaka.
That worked out ok.

[Alan Bravey @Albravey]

@JaissleIN101 @ToonFan14 Kamara- Free
Tielemans - Free
Rogers-£18m
McGinn-£2.5m

Good value for me.

[Alan Bravey @Albravey]

@JermzAFC @MrBrum43 Ha! Strewth, looking at your squad you should scrape a win.
We might be fielding the tea lady. But Unai will wind her up and let her go. It’s what elite managers do.😎

[Alan Bravey @Albravey]

@JermzAFC @MrBrum43 I thought you’d gone to the pub.
I watched the game tonight.
You might give us a game next week.

[Alan Bravey @Albravey]

@lew_clamp If Unai wants him that’s a good sign.

[Alan Bravey @Albravey]

@JermzAFC @MrBrum43 However, as has been said, recollections may vary. Arsenal fans don’t view him favourably, Villa fans like him. His standing varies accordingly.

[Alan Bravey @Albravey]

@JermzAFC @MrBrum43 That manager went into a club that was underperforming under a previous manager. He was underrated by an entitled fan base without the wit to give him time and undermined by a set of players who were unable to understand his philosophy.
