NSWCHS Water Polo Champions! Congratulations to the Albury HS Open Girls on winning the NSWCHS Championship in Newcastle today. Playing Kirrawee HS in the final, the scores are locked 10 all at full time with the girls winning the penalty shootout 3-1! Amazing performance team!

Our U/15s Girls waterpolo team have finished in third position in the NSWCHS Water polo KO. The girls def Tuggarah Lakes 3-2 in the play off for 3rd after narrowly losing their semi-final to Merewether HS 6-5 earlier in the day. The girls led 5-3 going into the final quarter!

Congratulations Gold medalists in the Boys Under 15’s NSW CHS Knockout Finals - Albury High School. The boys defeated Balgowlah Boys HS 13 – 8 in the final in Lambton this afternoon. Charlie Murphy was named ‘Player of the Final’.

Congratulations to our Under 15 boys water polo team that has qualified for the semi finals of the NSWCHS knockout finals in Newcastle today. The team defeated Alstonville HS 12-1, Lambton HS 10-3 and The Ponds HS 17-2. Good luck tomorrow in the semis.

Our Under 15s Girls waterpolo team have made the semi-finals of the NSWCHS Water polo knockout in Newcastle. The girls have defeated Figtree HS 7 nil and Tuggerah Lakes SC 4-3 in the pool games. They now play cross over games tomorrow.

We are a Spectacular School: Congratulations to all students who participated in this year's NSW State Schools Spectacular. Albury HS students participated in dance, massed choir and the Surround Sound Band competition at Specfest. The performances truly did create the Magic

At the NSWCHS Water polo the boys win a bronze medal against Sydney East. At the conclusion of the championship an U/17 NSWCHS team was selected with Charlie, Rhys and Josh making the team. Toby Gould was selected as a reserve for this team.

Good luck to the Riverina Albury Dance Ensemble who are currently performing at Schools Spectacular. Students from James Fallon and Albury High will appear in the Extraordinary Magic section. It has been a long hard week but it is worth it. Congrats teacher Mrs Katrina Joss.

This group of AHS students are part of the Riverina Open Boys water polo team playing at the NSWCHS Championships in Wagga. That are playing a semi final this morning against Hunter after finishing third in the preliminary rounds.

The Riverina Open Boys water polo team is playing at the NSWCHS Championships in Wagga this week. AHS has a number of boys in the team, who have won 3 out of 4 games so far this week. Good luck over the next two days boys.

YEAR 6 INTO YEAR 7 FAMILY NIGHT: Incredible opportunity for our staff to meet their future students and their families tonight. The Quad was a terrific venue for the event and it was great seeing so many members of our school community at the event.
