Meditation upon a Wizard’s Rule
Deserve victory:
1.Use your mind to determine the right course of action, be sure of your own righteousness, and then stop second-guessing yourself.
2.Know that you have been given what you’ve been given, and use it; it’s up to you to be worthy of the moment when it comes.
3.The universe makes no promises; you need to fight to prove your worth every day, because otherwise someone else will take your place—and it will be right that they do.

“You won't die if we steal from you” isn't an argument against greed. It's an attempt to justify theft by pointing to how much the victim has left.
Apparently, there's the greed of wanting to keep what you've earned and the greed of wanting to live off what someone else earned.
The fact that someone can afford to lose something doesn't establish your right to take it.
Demanding someone else's wealth because they have more than you is a far clearer expression of greed than refusing to surrender what you've earned.
“You can afford to be robbed” is greed looking for moral justification.
Sure, Jared. I'll bite.
First, before we begin, let's establish that nothing is "free." Also, "Government-funded" is just another way of saying "taxpayer-funded." Now that we've cleared that up...
Can you explain why feeding children is automatically everyone else's responsibility except the parents?
Nobody is arguing that hungry children should go without food. But there's a difference between helping families who genuinely need assistance and making taxpayers responsible for feeding every child, regardless of their family's ability to pay.
And let's stop pretending these programs involve nothing beyond a free lunch. Federal child nutrition funding also supports breakfast programs, after-school snacks, summer meals, food procurement, cafeteria operations, staffing, equipment and administrative expenses.
Compassion for children shouldn't mean abandoning parental responsibility or pretending public programs have no costs.
Maybe before demanding that everyone else foot the bill, we should ask why the responsibility of feeding a child has somehow shifted from the parents to the taxpayer.
Answer that -- and we'll really get somewhere...
Haitians have spent 222 years destroying Haiti, yet you think it is unfair to ask them to fix their self-inflicted problems.
They committed genocide against their white population, deforested 96% of the country, and contaminated every freshwater source through open defecation, fueling regular cholera and typhoid outbreaks.
The government pursues policies that drive 90% of Haiti’s educated population abroad and make it one of the least attractive countries for investment, despite massive tourism potential.
At some point the native population of a country must take ownership of its future.
Hey @amazon I don’t care about a search function to look for products that are classified as “sustainability” I want a search function for products that are “made in America”.
This is insane ‼️
Unidentified TRAX stabbing suspect promptly RELEASED after stabbing another man TWICE on Utah TRAX yesterday causing serious injuries.
Despite over a DOZEN witnesses and multiple people subduing the crazed knife-wielding suspect until the next TRAX stop, where police arrested him— and apparently promptly releasing him to harm again.
No name or mugshot given.
Arm and train accordingly because the SLCo government clearly wants criminals out on the street!
There is no "fixing" Social Security. Individuals should have never trusted the government to run a retirement system. The solution is to dismantle it and allow workers to invest 12% of their paychecks as they see fit -- not fund the government's endless spending.

This is a bad way to frame the conversation and a rhetorical dead end. You will never defeat feminism by arguing "women are the real victims of empowering women".
That's a conservative embarrassed mentality, where you're begging for the permission of your enemies under their own moral framework.
It's never going to happen.
Your enemies will never voluntarily abandon the sinecures, prestige, and cash flow which they have accumulated under the aegis of Civil Rights.
Normies only respect strength and high status. When you beg for the approval of your enemies, you look weak, and Normies choose the strong horse. Instead, you need to win by viciously going for the most vulnerable and nasty part of the argument.
You need to get your hands dirty.
There is only one way to win: by asserting a confident, unapologetic defense of young white men who have been destroyed by feminist delusions.
Young men are the real victims, and you can't be ashamed of defending the teenage boys who were emasculated and impoverished and had their dreams stolen, their talent wasted, their confidence bullied into submission.
Every layer of society has been distorted and transformed by sexual liberation of women.
Hollywood movies are terrible, video games are terrible, television shows are terrible because we flooded all of these cultural prestige industries with women.
Literature is dead, and has been homogenized to formulaic female pornography about billionaire vampire werewolf sex dungeon "romances".
Women are getting high-paid fake jobs they don't deserve. The men who deserve those careers are being pushed into poverty, gig jobs.
Nothing works because our society is run by women pretending to work.
Science is dead because we flooded NASA and the Ivy Leagues with conformist, risk-averse Midwits incapable of creativity or adversarial pursuit of truth. Women are the cause of the replication crisis in academia. Safetyism suffocates innovation.
To defeat feminism, you need to tell the truth.
We elevated millions of women beyond their capabilities. To do that, we displaced their masculine contemporaries who were capable of greatness. We robbed men to pay women.
It's a tragedy. It's wasteful. We accomplished nothing. We wasted multiple generations of talent that are never going to realize their potential. We created a generation of Peter Pan stunted adolescents, trapped in economic stagnation and downward mobility.
None of that is the worst part.
All of these women are now going insane with Wokeness, with MeToo, with social contagions and political upheavals caused by conformity, sexual liberation, SSRIs, and loneliness.
Which is also not the worst part.
The worst part is all of the romances that didn't happen.
All of the marriages that never started, because women want a man who earns more and has higher relative status than her... but we designed the entire postindustrial economy to pay women more than men. In the aggregate, we created an ecosystem of sexually frustrated women and resentful men who despise each other.
They never got married. They never had kids.
Women are spiraling into mass psychosis because society lied to them, set them up for a dream that was never going to happen, and women collectively chose, in the aggregate, to pursue freedom and consumerism and hookup culture until they were miserable and alone.
We are barely starting to see the damage. Childless millennial women are going to go insane and attempt to destroy all of civilization when they hit their 40s and 50s with no husband or children.
Before that happens, we need to take power away from women so we can start to fix all of the damage Boomers did by implementing DEI to elevate a generation of girls at the expense of the boys they otherwise would've happily married.
That's the story we should be telling. Or something along those lines.
Actually, we do know why K-12 educational test scores and grades are declining. This is the first generation where kids have a massive number of teachers more focused on critical theory, pride flags and wokeness than they are on basic math and reading (let alone the harder stuff).
At the same time the left has created policies to allow disruptive students to be coddled during class time AND they break from lessons to allow translation for students who don’t speak English. Both of which end up hurting the other students.
On top of that they’ve begun to attack gifted programs because not enough minorities of the correct shade of skin are in them, all in the name of "equity", which once again punishes excellent kids of all races. All incentives to be excellent are being removed from schools in favor of outcomes where everyone feels good on the inside.
Then you have the acceptance of failure in the name of "equity" where we graduate kids who can’t even read because it might hurt their feelings to hold them back and force some accountability. Beyond that, the average teacher has a lower IQ today than they did 20 years ago (hence the crazy politics most of them have) and we culturally allow disgusting things to go on in schools.
Once you get past that, the 2 largest teachers unions are both more focused on getting raises for themselves, getting pervy books into kids hands and funneling money to Democrat politicians than they are on good outcomes for kids. The truth is that we keep giving them more money and the outcomes get worse each year. This is what happens when nearly all of academia becomes a political operation to seed and serve an ideology, instead of serving kids.
Oh and tests. The woke intelligentsia decided that tests are racist because white kids and Asians performed better on average so they threw out a bunch of the tests that actually challenge kids and identify talent that needs to be fostered. This had the added bonus of once again zapping any competitive spirit or fire to be the best from kids.
And I almost forgot, the industry made kids their guinea pigs for gender confusion, masking, lockdowns and isolation learning where they didn’t see their peers for a long time. This had enormous psychological impacts.
What exactly are you confused about?
the minimum wage is a price floor. it sets a legal minimum price for labor
price floors create surpluses. a surplus of labor is called unemployment
this isn't theory. it's the most basic law of economics. if you raise the price of something above what the market would pay, people buy less of it. if you raise the price of labor above what the worker produces, the employer stops hiring
the teenager whose first job was worth $8 an hour loses it when the minimum becomes $15. he doesn't get a raise. he gets zero. the employer automates the job, reduces hours, or closes
the worker who keeps his job at $15 thinks he won. but his hours get cut. his workload increases. his benefits disappear. the employer adjusts the total cost of employment downward by reducing everything that isn't the wage
the minimum wage helps the worker who keeps his job and hurts the worker who loses it. the visible winner gets the headline. the invisible loser gets nothing
the socialist says: if a business can't pay a living wage, it doesn't deserve to exist. but the business that closes doesn't disappear from the economy. it's replaced by a larger competitor who can absorb the cost. the minimum wage kills small businesses and feeds monopolies
the worker who wanted a raise got unemployment. the small business that couldn't comply got bankruptcy. the corporation that could absorb the cost got less competition
that's every price floor. the visible effect is higher wages. the invisible effect is fewer jobs. the socialist celebrates the first and ignores the second
@BobJone76741561@CJGRISHAM That’s like saying “amputating a mangled / unsalvageable limb and a healthy limb involve the same surgical steps, therefore if you support one then you should support the other”.
Deporting Ilhan Omar would be like landing an astronaut on the moon, in terms of the emotional and psychological inspiration it would have on the American people to see a foreigner Congresswoman deported. It would be like chains and shackles were broken from a sleeping giant.
