Sun has been shining this afternoon at the Anthony West Charity Football Match at Alcester Town Football Club! Our team was talking about CPR, Defibrillators and Bleed Control Kits! Thank you for your kind donations and raising funds for our charity! #AlcesterCFR@OFFICIALWMAS
We have been on call this week during the hot weather responding to incidents within a 10 mile radius. On Thursday, Tim, one of our volunteers had a busy one, responded to six 999 calls throughout the day! ☀️

We are at The Alcester Inn today supporting their fundraise for a defibrillator! Looks like they have a great line up of acts and we are chatting to members of the public about the importance of and how to use defibrillators!

Last week Zoe & Rob visited residents during their coffee morning at Oversley House to demonstrate use of a defibrillator and perform CPR. Thank you for inviting us along! Zoe & Rob also remained on-call throughout the day to respond to any 999 calls. #AlcesterCFR@OFFICIALWMAS
We recently had some lovely feedback drop into our inbox following two of our volunteer First Responders attending an incident:
“They were professional and reassuring whilst waiting for the ambulance. Please pass on our gratitude to them for their help and kindness.”
Different scene for one of our Community First Responders as he visited one of the Emergency Operations Centres for the West Midlands Ambulance Service to learn about what happens during 999 calls & understand how ambulance resources are deployed to incidents. @OFFICIALWMAS
This morning Bill, our volunteer First Responder Coordinator supported setting up another new defibrillator in Alcester. Great to see additional lifesaving devices, which can be used by anyone, being installed! Well done and thank you to everyone involved.

This defibrillator, along with all other Public Access Defibrillators are accessed during an emergency 999 call, where the ambulance call assessor will provide you with the location of your nearest defibrillator and the access code.
After huge fundraising effort by community it’s great to be supporting new defibrillators in Alcester.
Yesterday we had the pleasure of setting up a new Automated External Defibrillator (AED) into the newly installed cabinet on Mayors Drive
#AlcesterCFR@OFFICIALWMAS
It’s great to see the community pull together with fundraising, donations, offers to host a defib, and of course DMH Electrical & Security Specialists for installing the cabinet free of charge! Thank you all!
Thank you for visiting us today and thank you to the @AlcesterRT for working in partnership with us today.
If you want us to join you, your club or organisation for a CPR & Defib awareness session please just get in touch.

Great turn out at our CPR and Defibrillator drop in session today at the Alcester Town Hall…
Brilliant to see both members of the community & those visiting the town for the Garden Walkabout popping in to learn more about how to help save a life.

Earlier today we joined the local community at The Graftons Village Hall, Temple Grafton to provide CPR & Defibrillator awareness. Great to see the Village Hall also has a Public Access Defibrillator available in the event of a cardiac arrest in the local area.
