A huge thank you to @HolocaustUK for coming in and giving our @AlcesterAcademy students such a fantastic opportunity to learn, reflect and engage. We are incredibly proud of the way our students demonstrated our school values throughout the experience.
Itโs been an incredible experience for our @AlcesterAcademy Year 9 pupils visiting 4 different places of worship. A beautiful cultural experience that we were very lucky to participate in. Thankyou to each Faith for welcoming us with open arms. #Culture#Diversity

Holocaust Memorial Day. As part of our @AlcesterAcademy GCSE History trip, we visit and reflect. It never gets easier. We remember the Holocaust, and the genocides that have followed, and why remembrance still matters and why it must be taught in our schools.

This week Miss B and Mr R took @AlcesterAcademy Year 11 mock revision to a whole new level -factors on the tables and students filling the space with everything they know. Interactive, engaging, and seriously thought-provoking revision (donโt worry, it washes right off!)
Itโs always such a pleasure to witness learning coming to life in the classroom. @AlcesterAcademy our teachers work hard to create lessons in their curriculum sequencing that are creative and engaging, creating a climate for curiosity, stretch and challenge. #History#Interactive
Superb @AlcesterAcademy Saturday School turnout yesterday and truly exemplary conduct from our students. Keep making history with your hard work and attitude! ๐ #ProudTeacher
On #RemembranceSunday, @AlcesterAcademy we remember not only the soldiers and civilians affected by war, but also the animals who carried, comforted, and served alongside them.
We will remember them all. ๐บ๐ด๐
Hope you enjoyed the fireworks! ๐ @AlcesterAcademy But do you know why we celebrate 5th November? It marks the Gunpowder Plot of 1605, when Guy Fawkes and others tried to blow up the Houses of Parliament. With very close ties to @Coughton_Court!
