A Finnish-American artist has made a lifelong dream come true after moving to Japan to become a manga creator.

The one-shot manga “This Foreigner is Too Otaku to Make Her Dreams Come True” won a prize in a Kodansha women’s manga competition, earning an official debut in the publisher’s Kiss and BE LOVE magazines.

Before breaking into manga, the artist worked on anime projects including *Lazarus*, *Blue Exorcist* Season 3, and *The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim*.
