@Brainboksh@ArghGEEballer@khamis_shamsu In that case it can be taking the cross spin in reverse while maintaining the sequence for the middle box. I believe the can also be a process of unlearning and relearning...
So it can be D as well don't you think.
A coup will never happen in Nigeria again, and that’s not because our leaders are perfect, but because the system has evolved beyond that era.
The military today is deeply monitored, politically neutralized, and divided by regional and ethnic interests, no single officer can rally enough force to seize power.
Besides, the same political class controls the military through patronage and appointments, so there’s no incentive to overthrow a system that already feeds them.
Those days are behind us for real!
They Gave Their Sweat, Fairness Should Not Be Optional
Dear Young Engineers,
Over the past weeks, the dispute between Dangote Refinery and its young Nigerian engineers has drawn wide attention. We have seen heated publications, union interventions, public debates, and finally the involvement of the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment. At the very least, these efforts have brought the issue to the national table, where agreements were signed and commitments made. The process has been long and painful, but it shows that the sacrifices of these young professionals are not invisible, and that the call for fairness cannot simply be dismissed.
The communique issued & signed by the Ministry of Labour confirms that unionisation is a right of workers, that the disengaged staff are to be reabsorbed within the Dangote Group, and that no one should be victimised for their role in the dispute. On paper, this gives you some protection and leverage, because the agreement is now on record with both government & PENGASSAN.
The news flying among many of you is that, you may simply resign because you're afraid of a vendetta, and you cited fee instances. That fear is valid. However, my advice is, for now, do not rush to resign. A voluntary resignation would weaken your legal and moral standing, and may also affect the benefits you are entitled to under this agreement. Allow the process of re-engagement to take place, & remain under PENGASSAN’s protection while the union and the Ministry monitor compliance.
Be very deliberate about keeping records. Save every email from HR, every redeployment notice, and every assignment letter. If there is ever a breach of the “no victimisation” clause, these documents will be vital for your defence. If you are redeployed to another SBU, request written confirmation that your terms and conditions remain the same.
PENGASSAN should also be pressed to closely monitor how re-engaged staff are treated. If you notice patterns of sidelining, unfair treatment, or attempts to quietly disengage you, inform the union immediately so they can escalate the matter.
Remain patient but vigilant. Redeployment may be used as a way to weaken your position, but as long as you remain covered by the agreement, you have grounds for recourse. If it becomes clear that the environment is hostile and there is deliberate bad faith from management, then a dignified resignation with negotiated entitlements may be the final option, but only if all other avenues fail.
You truly are not saboteurs. If anything, you were praised by Alhaji himself and mentioned as better engineers than the sacred cows, you the scape goats.
For now, stand firm, document everything, and allow the union and the Ministry to enforce the commitments already signed. This way, you protect both your rights and your future options.
Thank you.
@akintollgate It baffles me seeing people supporting Dangote on this matter, just few weeks ago he was being dragged for his trucks killing people and now you're supporting him and wanting to sacrifice 800 plus lives to him again...
@AbdulMahmud01 Very true.
This is how narrow minded people are, plagued by ignorance. Everyone will just give opinion on things they have zero knowledge on. How can you justify the sacking and oppression of people because they exercised their right for fairness...
A Thread: General perspective.
People feel the moment fuel flows they don't care what happens and they feel for that reason Dangote is too big to fail and I understand why most would think that.
But I want everyone to think deeply about it

5. If it was meant to serve the Nigerian people, it would have protected the right of the Nigerian workers and not favor expatriates over the Nigerian Engineers, which clearly shows that if given the pass to override the labour law and workers right it will not serve the Nigeria.
This fight is not about PENGASSAN but for the Nigerian workers.
The Nigerian Engineers praised by the Dangote group 2 weeks ago as being better than Indian expatriates are now sacked labelled as saboteurs and then Recruiting previously disqualified candidates and more expatriates
