🙇 DeFi is still experiencing high amounts of friction in onboarding less experienced blockchain users to the space.

💧 @SuiFoundation is trying to remedy this issue with their zkLogin primitive.

Let’s learn more about this feature and how it superpowers user onboarding on sui dApps like #NAVI. 👇

🔑 zkLogin is a Sui feature that allows users to sign into their dApps in a simplified manner.

It now supports a number of OpenID OAuth providers including Google, Twitch, and Facebook, and allows users to log in to their Sui wallet using familiar credentials.

🫥 With zkLogin, developers can choose to use invisible wallets, abstracting the interaction with the blockchain from the end user for a more streamlined experience:

🎯 The feature has multiple goals:

🔹 Simple Onboarding by eliminating the friction of handling cryptographic keys. Blockchain experience becomes as familiar as logging into Google or Facebook.

🔹 Self-Custody where only the user can interact with their assets.

🔹 Highly secure thanks to a two-factor authentication scheme.

🔹 Enhanced privacy, as zk-proofs prevent third parties from linking a Sui address with its corresponding OAuth identifier.

🔹 Optional Verified Identity where users can opt into verifying their OAuth identifier and link it to their Sui address.
