It has been wonderful welcoming the children back to school this week. We are looking forward to sharing information about some of the exciting projects we have planned for this year!
There are so many incredible products at our market. The children have worked so hard to research, plan, make and cost their items. Miss Mullaney has picked up many bargains!
Preparations for Enterprise Day are well under way! Aldborough market will open at 10am for children to begin selling and buying! Which class will be the most successful this year?
Some of our wonderful Year 3 children running their WE Walk for Water event. They have almost completed it and are feeling very inspired to continue helping to make a change in our world. What incredible children we have at Aldborough! @WEMovement#WEwalkForWater#CleanWaterON

A busy day at Aldborough today! Our Eco Warriors had a workshop with the charity @TreesforCities. Zoe spoke to them about trees, the environment and why they are so important to us.
Our Reception children have really enjoyed their carnival day with Miss Bruno. They are preparing for their final parade around the school. A wonderful day full of colour, music and lots of learning about Black History.
Year 1 children are about to learn their African dance. They have had a wonderful day learning about African art and dance and as always, their behaviour was impeccable!
As part of our Black History celebrations, our year 1 and 2 children are busy decorating their wooden African masks and learning about the miracle tree where the wood has come from. It's all very exciting!
Our Pupil Leadership Team were lucky enough to spend some more time with Chris today and hear about his time with Nelson Mandela. They asked many interesting questions and as always were outstanding role models for our school. Thankyou @Sawubona_Chris
