With the timely reopening of the Black Horse, just as schools break up for the summer, #Settle and #Giggleswick regain their full complement of pubs and clubs. At least 25 different #cask beers available across 9 venues. πΊπΊπΊ
Last Friday was literallly a Mild success. In Horwich for a wedding the next day, Holts, Black Edge, then Bank Top. 3 milds, a porter and a stout sampled, making it a true birthday treat. Not forgetting the one non-dark beer: Holts Bitter. πΊπΊπ @Blackedgebeers@BankTopBrewery
Good place for topping oneself up, although today it was just tea and a scone as I was on my bicycle. Fat Lamb, nr.. Ravenstonedale, a SE Westmoreland pub I've been trying to visit for a while. Nice, cosy, multi-room layout, but over the top plate for the scone!
Found this little one looking dazed in the middle of the road. After about 20 minutes he looked a lot more alert and soon he launched himself from the wall-top and was off and away. Phew!

The annual elderflower beer from #LambBrewing has just gone on at the Black Horse #Giggleswick. Don't miss it! The aroma drifts across the table! Sorry not to show a full pint but I couldn't resist getting stuck in!

@dermotk54 Went on from the Sun to the Apple Tree at Onebury, nr. Ludlow, just off the A49. Lovely little pub, converted from a shop that was earlier a pub, according to the CAMRA Good Beer Guide.
After an unsuccessful breeding season last year, weβre delighted to see the Barn Owls back in action with four chicks this year.
Thanks to the @_BTO for their continued help in monitoring them ππ½
