From my experience , I dropped a course needed to graduate and transfer . I simply could no longer afford it .

After clinging to hope , I’ve come to the conclusion to drop my math course . Simple fact is that I cannot afford to pay for an additional course .

Focusing and passing a math course online is not ideal for me . I was determined , but #coronavirus .

It’s been hard couple of days . I am on the waitlist for so many #COVID19 student relief funds . I’m just glad that my onboarding process for my new job has begun !

One of my classmates is an older man having difficulty navigating #Zoom . Like many of us , he doesn’t have a laptop . He is not tech savvy either , unfortunately .

It breaks my heart that many of us are forced to buy things we can’t afford NOW.

Drove to my nearest open @sprint store to buy a new tablet because lord knows I couldn’t continue with school without a device.

Laptops are expensive and I cannot believe I’m spending money on what is considered a commodity.

Breaks my heart that my fellow advocate friends @LBCityCollege are looking for loopholes to get refunded for their courses .

Students like myself who pay $500 + in tuition and other materials . We need whatever money we can get . Being poor wasn’t tough already .
