@emiliemetrakos I feel like there is no harm in letting them watch certain Disney movies as long as they are well taught and that they don't grow up to believe in those stereotypes.
I feel like women are negatively portrayed in many Disney movies. Their happiness always relies on a man. So many young girls watch these movies, it teaches them that in order to become the best version of themselves they need a man. Which shouldn't be the case!!
I was shocked to see all of the stereotypes in these famous Disney movies that I loved watching as a kid with my family. Have you noticed them before or was it the first time? Do you think they are obvious to see?
I think a good way of increasing awareness of ptivacy using stakeholder's would be to inform the people. We could make presentation and present it to students or workers even.
I think some of the chalenges regarding technology with students is the bulling. Because now a days if a students is getting bullied at school, the danger is that when he gets home the bulling continues on social media.
@Lauren48288100 yes because it is a topic that is so important in the way we see things and because it is important that we teach our students to keep a open mind
I feel like we are in an illusion of freedom, just by the fack that we have to acces to technology in our everyday life. Per exemple, you have to have an email adress just to recived school information, or even for work. this makes the acces to technologie a necessity.
From my point of view, the main challenges regarding digital citizenship in school is that students dont interact with there right people. Therefort, their interactions become not always school related.
With the lesson 2 I realized that not only applications like Facebook or YouTube are not just a distraction but they can be positive in the learning processus of students. But I am still doubting that students will take their time spent on social media in a learning way.
