Great talk with @SpeakerJohnson last night.

The House has passed the SAVE America Act and other similar versions of the bill three times.

Speaker Johnson is as committed as ever to ensuring it becomes law, including keeping it on the NDAA (a “must pass” bill) as it comes over from the House to the Senate, and fighting for it thereafter.

He assured me that MIRV process will guarantee the two bills are merged and received in the Senate as one bill, with the SAVE America Act in the base text.

In both of my elections, they counted ballots for almost two weeks.

Four days after our Senate race, they suddenly found double the ballots in one county. I called & asked where they came from. “Oh, we found them in a vault,” they said.

Look, our elections are theater, often phony. We have to fix it.

It’s easy to run fair, honest, & transparent elections, but we need the WILL to do it.

The people want it. I just hope those with the power to change things get behind the people.

We are coming up on America’s 250th birthday, and we have feckless leadership in the Senate refusing to pass the SAVE America Act.

Should I also mention there are members in my own chamber who are more concerned about putting Senators in a “tough spot” on the NDAA than passing SAVE America. Did you not all run on this and promise this to your voters?

Don’t worry. Even though some of you are making comments about me in the press, I won’t respond back with your incredibly brilliant stock trades that smell like insider trading, especially given your committees of jurisdiction. It’s okay, the American people will do that for me.

So yes, 1,000%, the rule will go down until you attach the SAVE America Act. I don’t care who in this chamber hates me for it.

I don’t work for you. I don’t work for Washington. I work for the American people. It’s time the House force the senate to do their jobs. Failure is not an option.
