DeWine and the state government of Ohio has once again demonstrated a failure to do their main job, which is to listen and serve the people. We voted on issues and clearly expressed what we wanted, and they’re ignoring us.
Starting this Saturday, Ohio breweries like Jackie O’s could face felony charges for selling hemp-derived beverages—products that our voters overwhelmingly legalized in 2023.
This ban is an out-of-touch overreach from our Statehouse that threatens jobs, small businesses, farmers, and local breweries.
As governor, I’ll respect the will of the voters and ensure that Ohio adults 21+ can safely make their own decisions. It’s that simple.
