Omwami, @MusaliaMudavadi, you asked Kenyans to tell you what they would do differently if they were President @WilliamsRuto. Here is your answer, in 13 brief points.
I will -
1. Trace, locate and repatriate the TRILLIONS of Shillings of PUBLIC MONEY that the Kenyatta, Moi, Kibaki and the families of looters including those in Kenya Kwanza have stashed in Kenya and abroad, and use the recovered wealth to repay the public debt; build industries and processing plants; create employment for the jobless; provide universal healthcare and quality education; build infrastructure and quality affordable housing; and eliminate corruption in public office.
2. End extra-judicial killings, abuse of power, torture, and repression by the security forces.
3. Create a merit-based society where employment, promotion and rewards are given to qualified, competent, creative, resourceful, innovative and ethical citizens of Kenya, and eliminate that cronyism, nepotism, sexism, racism and tribalism.
4. Eliminate dependency on foreign imports, foreign labour and foreign aid.
5. Recover all grabbed public land and utilize them for agricultural production in order to make Kenya food secure.
6. Preserve and protect the environment; introduce innovative modern means of waste management and disposal, recycling, and eco-friendly technology.
7. Make education free from primary school to undergraduate university education for Kenya citizens, the way it’s been done in Cuba, Germany and Libya under Muammar Ghadhaffi.
8. Introduce a 13% Harnonized Goods and Services Tax on non essential goods and services, and eliminate tax on food, water, and other basic needs.
9. Eliminate drug trafficking, money laundering and other organized criminal activities and punish all perpetrators.
10. Remove all foreign military installations and stop the World Bank, IMF, CIA and M16 interference in Kenyan affairs.
11. Recognize the Palestinian state and sovereignty and cut links with Israel.
12. Totally overhaul and transform the neocolonial state and create a fully liberated African state, which is only accountable to its citizens.
13. Govern in accordance with the constitution, rule of law, international best practices and respect the sovereignty of the people.
