@ApTora_ Aang knew when to be serious later on in his series. Re-watch Book 1: Water. He was a goof, a scared child, and ran from responsibility often enough for it to be part of his character arc, a lot like Pavi. Part of his running was prioritizing fun over all else.
@emmywayne64 The metal was in a liquid form. She knows how to metalbend, and she's a waterbending avatar. The form of the bendable substance dictates how it wants to move, not just the type of substance it is.
@peakmann1e Dry wood is difficult to bend. Making it an element would give an opponent something attached to her they can take advantage of. She's already got bones, blood, air in her lungs, and body heat. I think she's good without giving benders ANOTHER thing to take advantage of.
@brainstorm_chan The more I watch what people in this fandom say, the more I'm realizing "things change" is just a phrase most people don't even register.
@maclisa999 Thats the definition of maintenance. Nothing just "stays good" forever. Disaster innevitably strikes. Just because the pipe in your wall is carrying water fine now doesn't mean you'll never need someone to fix the plumbing ever again.
@gatorcopter Yes, to some degree. However, ATLA was good about making the backgrounds feel more alive by having activity in the background be more common. It was evident even from the first set of episodes. Here, all people who are not at rest are standing still as though they are at rest.
@viztur I'm not a Korra hater, but I'm also not a Korra stan. I think it will be interesting to see where this goes. Right now a lot of people are doing what the people in the show are doing. They're making judgements without all of the information. I'm willing to see what happened.
@peakmann1e By this point he's already been out of the jail cell for a bit. He could have picked it up then. Or we also have that he's clearly well studied in history, particularly airbending history, but he could have heard about it. Also guards may have talked, and he may have overheard.
@dttania1ojx You can make:
721 (Move vertical bottom right side of 3 stick to bottom left side of 3)
191 (Move horizontal 7 stick to top left of 3)
161 (Same as before but to bottom left of 3)
78 (move big vertical stick in 1 and connect to left side of 3)
@PokemonTCGDealz People doing stupid shit with cards like this for clout only to realize they destroyed something valuable is deserved. I would have rather seen the card go unsleeved to a child who would have some level of appreciation for it rather than this, but I'm always happy to see regret.
@Nexiraluv In large part its due to the fact that if they ever need to move out of the building or the business shuts down at that location, the building doesn't require heavy modifications to become a Wendy's, Taco Bell, or Arby's instead. (or any other chain, take your pick)
@Maxwell637159 It's actually a rather natural progression for someone confronting and moving past their trauma. Trauma survivors who healed through processing their personal narrative can be some of the most stable people you may ever meet.
@peakmann1e Tenzin was trying too hard. He was a great technically skilled airbender. His desire to be spiritually in touch is what kept him from being as spiritually in touch as Jinora, Iroh, or Bumi.
@peakmann1e Aang wasn't spiritually projecting. He was trapped as a spirit by another spirit. Jinora was using a spiritual airbending technique that she had practiced. She probably knew how to make herself appear to certain people in that state. especially since she had control.
