@GovWhitmer Amazing! I wish I would have had this when I was an intern 4 years ago. My husband I wouldn’t have struggled as much. I think our biggest issue is retention. Why not provide a stipend for new teachers during the first 5-7 years to bolster their pay?

We started the year with Book Bunting and were able to make real connections with one another. Students shared aspects of their personality, life experiences, and values, all while learning some new vocab. Dictionaries haven’t been this useful since the 2000s.
