We recently added more Circom bugs to zkbugs, bringing the total to 70 Circom and 139 ZK bugs. We aim to reach 300 bugs, focusing more on zkVMs. We also began evaluating security tools and are currently building open-source AI tools that the community can use while developing ZK code and before audits. Any contribution to the QF round will help us focus more on it and give opportunities to junior researchers through internships.

Why?

This weekend, Know Your Customer (KYC) information about 10 participants from our recent Aleo Learn & Earn events was mistakenly exposed to other Aleo community members through a copy/paste error in email metadata.

We appreciate everyone’s patience as our team worked to remove the exposed information, investigate the root cause, and notify the impacted individuals. Based on our findings, we’ve begun implementing new long-term technical controls for our KYC confirmation practices.

To those affected by our mistake, we apologize and hope the changes we’re making will again earn us your trust.
