Imagine this:

- You run a streaming website
- You add a rule to remove lurkers from streamers chats when lurkers make up the majority of audiences on twitch
- The rule causes mass upset as people feel removed and not included, both streamers and viewers outraged. Streamers mentals drop due to the change and thinking they aren't good enough
- You forcefully add an AI training rule that streamers and viewers must opt out of as it forces you to be a part of it straight away. Everyone outraged for a second time
- Then! You add another rule to highlight trends of chatters, which could include an increase or decrease of chatters
- If the trend is negative, new viewers won't join
- Streamers upset AGAIN and their mental shattered for the millionth time this year by shite choices that are out of their control

I have never seen a site care less about their streamers than twitch

Bare in mind, without said streamers this site would make 0 money

one of the best decisions i've ever made was starting to stream in English back in 2020.

my English definitely isn't perfect, especially as a French girl 😭 but streaming in English helped me improve so much and introduced me to such an incredible world.

i've met so many amazing people and experienced things i never thought i would.

Though, even through all of this, I could never thank the people who chose to stay with me enough. You saw me struggle, there was a time where I thought about quitting but I never went through. And nowadays, even if I keep loosing more followers and viewers than I'm gaining, 6/7

I don't want to blame it all on other, I know I could have probably fought and work harder. But with my mental health crumbling in front of me, and the loneliness I felt, I know I did my best, and it just is was not enough.

Sometimes working hard, isn't enough. 5/7
