The Sons of Jacob Synagogue in Belleville was shot at tonight while worshippers gathered for Yom Kippur. This was a photo sent to me by a worshipper.

An officer was on duty and is being called a hero.

This is disgraceful.

No Jewish person in Belleville should ever have to fear walking into their synagogue. No family should have to wonder whether they are safe while worshipping.

To Belleville’s Jewish community: we stand with you tonight. You deserve to feel safe here.

And to the officer who put himself in harm’s way protecting others: thank you.

UK social media influencer Shabs, displays the inverted red triangle three times, wearing it as a necklace, forming it with her hands, and featuring it prominently on her shirt.

Hamas uses the symbol in its propaganda to mark Israeli targets moments before an attack. Displaying it repeatedly turns a symbol of terrorist targeting into an emblem of celebration and intimidation against the Jewish community in the UK.

A protester demanded “Stop the Game” while displaying Israel’s football emblem on a ball dripping into a pool of blood.

The image portrays the Jewish state and its athletes as collectively bloodstained and calls for their exclusion from international sport, echoing the historic antisemitic depiction of Jews as uniquely bloodthirsty.

The territory between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea includes the entire State of Israel. The slogan demands a Palestine in its place, denying the Jewish people their right to national self determination.

A protester displayed a sign declaring, “Zionism is the biggest devil’s cult of our time.”

Zionism is the Jewish people’s movement for self determination in their ancestral homeland and a central part of the identity of millions of Jews. Portraying it as a satanic cult is not political criticism. It is the demonization of Jewish identity and collective existence.

An enormous Israeli flag covered with bloody handprints was spread across a public walkway so pedestrians could deliberately trample it.

Turning the flag of the world’s only Jewish state into a bloodstained doormat is not legitimate criticism. It is a public display of hatred intended to degrade Israel, its people, and the Jewish identity it represents.

Political criticism does not require reviving the ancient antisemitic portrayal of Jews as demonic creatures who thirst for blood. This is classic antisemitic demonization.

🇹🇭 Bangkok, Thailand. September 8.

A protester called Israel “the ultimate manifestation of white supremacy,” described Israelis as “genocidal war criminals,” told people with IDF related trauma to leave Thailand, and complained about “Jewish settlers” living there.

Calling Israel the ultimate expression of white supremacy erases the Middle Eastern identity of most Israeli Jews and recasts Jews as a single, foreign oppressor class. Combined with the claim that Jews in Thailand are unwanted “settlers,” this rhetoric racializes and demonizes Jews wherever they live. This is antisemitism.

This is not criticism of a specific policy. It promotes a conspiracy theory portraying the Jewish state as secretly plotting regional conquest, fueling fear and hostility through collective demonization.
