Hey, have you heard about MCP? This is a new advancement in AI technology, when @AnthropicAI last month open sourced Model Context Protocol (MCP) to the public.

Anthropic positions MCP as a key development in creating more intelligent and context-aware AI applications.

After playing with it, I think of it as giving AI a passport to your data world. It's how AI tools & agents can directly tap into your data.

Companies, including Cloudflare and Raygun, have already started implementing MCP servers. This allows developers to build sophisticated AI tools that can perform tasks on those platforms on behalf of users.

At @logLMhq we're using MCP now too. So with MCP our Agent better understands the context around the customer issue or the application error that an engineer is trying to troubleshoot and debug.

Building with MCP makes our Agent more intelligent and helps users get to the right outcomes faster - this means less prompts.

In the screenshot below, you can see a user can bring in relevant context directly into the prompt; in this example the user is sharing context to guide the AI about a specific Sentry issue and a known Prometheus metric. The AI will read and understand both bits to better help the user.
