@CFMelecio @dr_s_bertrand A great way to do this is to start the year (maybe the first 3-5 days) doing ZERO academics. Just classroom/team building and stem activities. When you start the year with everyone getting to know each other,
It truly feels like a loving family. #TCHEdBirds

@dr_s_bertrand A3: my goal this year is to seamlessly include diverse books into everyday lessons. Culturally diverse books should not just be read during black history month or Ramadan. I want all of my students to feel represented all the time. #TCHEdBirds

@dr_s_bertrand A2: one way I create an inclusive/ caring community within my classroom is through #GoNoodle brain breaks on YouTube. We practice positive self talk, empathy, and ways to reduce anxiety. It really helps the kids #TCHEdBirds
