Last Thursday, 29 June 2023, I successfully defended my #PhD in biomedical sciences on nanoplasmonic sensing platform for lectin detection. Thanks to everyone who made this day unforgettable. 👩🎓

What an amazing week at the University of #Liverpool for the largest #nanomedicine event in #Europe. Four days of great scientific talks and connections. I presented my work on lectin detection assay. Thanks to @etpnanomedicine and the British Society for Nanomedicine.
Delighted to attend the @etpnanomedicine#nme23 in Liverpool and present the work carried out at @ChemistryRCSI with @IrishResearch funding. I had a wonderful time and I really enjoyed the engagement with young and senior researches and companies.
On May 18-19, the #NanoCarb final Symposium took place at the @MarioNegriIRCCS in Milan 🇮🇹.
This was the occasion for our ESRs to present their results and receive feedback from an audience of clinicians, researchers and industry representatives! #MSCA

Milan, Nanocarb symposium. Sad that it was the last personal meeting with @nanocarbproject but glad to see that despite Covid we have created a strong and collaborative network.
Congratulations to our ESRs Gizem, Patricia, @AlessiaPancaro, and Javier for their new publication! "New nanostructures inhibiting human mannose binding lectin identified by a novel surface plasmon resonance assay"

Day 3 Amazing self organising and team effort project mapping the interconnections of NanoCarb work packages. Great purpose context setting. Also getting to understand SIPOC! Rewarded with views of Edinburgh from the Sky bar. #NanoCarb#Ludger#HorizonsUnleashed
Fantastic to be reconnecting with this great group of ESRs. Started the day with connecting with who we are then onto QMS #NanoCarb#Ludger#HorizinsUnleashed#Self-awaress #QMS
The NanoCarb Autumn Online Workshop took place this week. A great learning experience and an opportunity to hear how the ESRs projects are progressing.
