Not to pessimistic at all but I’m really really worried and have so much built up anxiety. I’m scared because I’m just 2 weeks time we won’t be able to make appeals. I’m scarred that a fair appeals process / predicted grades / honourtheoffer won’t happen anytime soon or At all?!!
@RealGeoffBarton NOT GOOD ENOUGH!
Proving malpractice/administration error hard;
Med/dent/vet have to retake; BMAT/UKCAT/interviews;
6weeks to reteach ourselves subject(s) w/out teaching/support + Incomplete syllabuses;
Poorer/BAME student most affected - can’t afford resit papers in summer!!!
@BirdgirlUK@Kaya_Ilska@KalwantBhopal@GavinWilliamson Then what do we do? I know students who come from a single parent household of less than £11,000 a year, you read that right. We’re currently in a recession with high unemployment and the country is in a 3 trillion debt
'Will the real grade please stand up?'
A fair, individual appeals process against centre accessed grades is vital.
The easiest and fairest way of reaching justice for students are UCAS Predicted grades.

Continue putting pressure on Ofqual and the government for a fair individual appeals process against centre assessed grades!
The fairest option is now to give students 1) The appeals process mentioned above, and 2) Their UCAS predicted grades

Easy to think that exams issue is over but:
-still no results for BTECs
-no grades for external candidates
-controversy about some schools routinely making CAGs too low in fear of Ofqual/DfE sanction.
-and next year? DfE says full steam ahead for exams, teachers say impossible
