SONY is sending out emails updating and reminding people of their PlayStation terms. short version what it says:
- You don't own your digital games, you rent a license
- If a account closed or banned your games are gone, even paid ones
- PlayStation can record your chats, clips, ip address
- Clips you share, they can sell and put ads on and you get no cut
- their liability is capped at £100! This means if Sony screws something up and it costs you money, the most they'll pay you back is £100, no matter how much you actually lost
I really hope we can all agree on this one thing: IF Infold ever drops an announcement saying Valko is coming back at a later date, please do NOT drop the boycott.
A future date on a social media post is not a victory. After two months of total radio silence, Infold has zero credibility left. An announcement could easily just be bait to kill our momentum, get people to calm down, and start spending again before anything is actually fixed.
We can’t fall for it. Even if they announce him and give us a date, we need to keep our wallets closed and hold off on logging back in. Words and teaser images cost them literally nothing. The boycott only ends when Valko is physically back in the game, sitting in the cafe and live on our screens.
Until he is actually there: - NO money
- NO logging in

Thank you.

other races love black culture, but hate black people. culture is meant to be shared and appreciated, but devaluing and mistreating the actual human beings who created them is actually disgusting..
All it took was two months for two years of interest, passion, and hyperfixation on LADS to fade away just like that.
I don’t feel much of anything for the game anymore, not even when it comes to Zayne. I haven’t touched his Promise or even the free card. Somehow, everything—
I hate when people see beautiful animation and their first response is "this would look great in live action" when in reality it would look 10 times worse and be nowhere near as cool
It’s been said before but fuck it, kids CAN actually handle sad, deep and even scary stuff. We gotta stop holding their hands and actually start trusting the audience again. Stop talking down to kids and respect their intelligence. Kids deserve more quality shows like Hey Arnold.
valko girlies we're losing the plot.
1) do not harass gamescon to get rid of the exhibit
2) do not harass the people who pull because a lot of them probably had pulls saved
3) stop changing the demands. stop harassing other people. our one goal is to get INFOLD to listen. +
Sometimes I worry that maybe things aren’t actually that successful and things somehow some echo chamber where actually it seems like a bigger deal than it is. And then…my friend tells me that her male coworker recognized Valko from her phone screen and asked if he was the dude that got cancelled. He’s a gamer but mostly like COD stuff. And when she asked how he knew he was like everyone in the gaming community knows about it because of the way they’re talking about how *successful* our boycott is in terms of numbers and see it as an example because shit is happening in other gaming communities.
And I know this is a source: trust me bro type situation because it’s anecdotal, and a friend of a friend. But what I can say is, she’s my irl friend I trust her, and hearing that put me at so much peace and gave me pride. We might still be in for a long haul but even other gamers are looking at us right now. Looking at the IMPACT we’re having. By all measures we are doing everything you are supposed to in a boycott.
Cut each other some slack (don’t go crazy but a little slack). We’re going a good job. Even with the disagreements about what a boycott is, even with the misinformation even with everything. That’s not to say those things don’t matter at all. But they have not been existential threats to our bottom line and we can afford to BREATHE and lock in. We’re not at the finish line but in terms of what is humanly possible to get the outcome we want we are hitting every benchmark we need. Keep holding the line. Focus on that. And have patience.
Solange Knowles left a beautiful message for Hayden Panettiere on her IG:
“we had so many parallels in our lives, and the world watched u so courageously live in your radical truth telling your story: we watched your endless quest for vulnerability, and healing
i salute your journey and i honor the work we created together that became something that really means something to people...reaching people we couldn't have ever imagined at the time, as two young girls, trying to
keep looking to the light.
the light surrounds you now
rest easy hayden.”
