@JamaicaGleaner Sometimes when I read the comments, I feel our own problems were, are and will always be our own people. Critical thinking is absent and how we apply reason is puzzling to me.
@jlpjamaica One thing I love with Dana, she is not going to shout and you cannot talk down to her. She is very disciplined in her work and respectful in her responses. She ain’t gonna be in any shouting match with you. Dinity and decorum.
@Sahylt1@AndrewHolnessJM A who this a talk bout why wasn’t the country prepared. Go and give back the carrier your phone and deactivate your service plan. Go read a newspaper.

@AbkaFitzHenley@CNN 1/2 - I like the interview but the question wasn't answered. She asked “where are these evacuation areas and can you describe the location and safety of these areas?” I was expecting a description of where these shelters are located,

Today we mark 63 years since we first raised the Black, Green and Gold in pride. We honour the bold spirit of those who gave us independence, and we recommit to building a stronger, safer, more prosperous Jamaica.
Let us be proud of our progress, in economic stability, education, healthcare, housing, and security, and be bold in tackling what still holds us back.
Independence is not just a celebration; it is a daily responsibility. Each of us has a role to play. So let us walk forward together, proud of who we are, bold in what we will become, and united in building a better Jamaica.
Happy Independence Day!
May God continue to bless Jamaica, land we love.

Main address from Prime Minister and Party Leader Dr. the Most Honourable Andrew Holness.
@JamaicaGleaner Why are we focusing out time and energy on day time running lights? Seems very mediocre to me. The cars a built with it. Just a waste to time and effort for the JCF.
@AndrewHolnessJM I like how the Prime Minister traveling in the helicopters. We need some more stylist and military upgraded ones. Time for a car fleet upgrade.
