@TheGerman21@justsoccershow@thesamuelarmy@Ceruti Impressive math! That’s not at all what I’m debating, so for me it’s clear that you don’t see my point, which is fine, and I don’t agree with yours, which again, is fine.
@TheGerman21@justsoccershow@thesamuelarmy@Ceruti Yeah I have no feeling of weirdness about this at all but yes, for sure. We’ll chalk up something completely subjective to basic common sense and then tell people they’re stupid for having an opinion. Oh how I’ve missed twitter.. I mean X. Been a while
@TheGerman21@justsoccershow@thesamuelarmy@Ceruti Okay well it’s clear we’re not going to see eye to eye on these.. and that’s cool. But enjoy getting worked up about them the rest of the tournament! I’ll go grab another beer during the breaks and enjoy
@TheGerman21@justsoccershow@thesamuelarmy@Ceruti 1. Some games will be hot enough to require a hydration break.
2. It is fair to argue that from a competition standpoint at a tournament, if it happens in multiple games out of necessity, it’s competitively fair for it to happen in all of them
@TheGerman21@justsoccershow@thesamuelarmy@Ceruti They don’t break each half in two. There’s no change of possession, no restart from a kickoff, no change in the time. It changes NOTHING fundamentally about the game. It’s an ad break. Nobody is stupid enough to believe it’s anything but that… but 2 things are true here:
@ajgPopOf3@Ceruti Also helps teams that are better than their opponents.. allows them to make adjustments as well.. Spain should have made better use of theirs in their first game
Thoughts on every group after the first round of games, plus our foreign fan power rankings (spoiler…the Scot’s are 1)
Shouts to @Alex25Bono for giving us way too much of his time
