I wish more people realized how debilitating it is to be food insecure, disabled, and live with chronic pain. Then factor in how racism, ableism, misogynoir, and other violent systems exacerbate things. Every single moment, every breath is a struggle. Anyways, emails. I’m tired.
I would be really into reading about fantasy settings which are deliberately non-anthropomorphic. Like even if it draws from earth life that'd be okay but at least have the protagonist be some type of cross between moss and jellyfish or something.

Finland's approach to homelessness is pretty impressive! They've made a smart policy choice to shift away from shelters and hostels to permanent housing solutions, with support staff. Meanwhile, we seem fixated on the idea that more police, not more housing, is the solution.
