Now that we are getting to the end of the quarter at UCI. I would like to reflect back on what I learned in Writing 60. One of the first things I learned this quarter was how to topic scope. This will be a useful skill for the future when I need to research.

Finally, I learned how to use social media, specifically twitter, to find sources by following researchers, to spread awareness about a cause, as well as push for people to take action in order to solve a problem.

Puppy mills can be very terrible and have unimaginable conditions. It is important that these be stopped or at least seriously regulated to have humane conditions!

I read about this, the drugs allow the horses to race through pain that should be stopping them from even walking. This is terrible!

Horse are such beautiful creatures, we should do what we can to stop horse races. These races can lead to serious physical injuries in the horses.

Declawing is a terribly painful practice for cats and other animals, it is also not necessary. It should be banned in all US states.
