Field Officers play a vital role in keeping Ontario safe, practiced and prepared for emergencies. They work directly with communities on the ground across the province, to prepare and #ProtectOntario when emergencies happen.
Ontario is exploring the possibility of a new Ontario Emergency Preparedness and Response Headquarters.
The state-of-the-art complex would enhance coordination with partners in emergency response, capable of serving Ontario 24/7/365.

While the eclipse will be temporary and short, it is important that anyone working outdoors during this time be aware of the risks and take precautions to minimize the risk of injury.
Mark your calendars!
On April 8, some parts of Ontario will experience a #TotalSolarEclipse between 2:00-4:30 p.m., lasting up to 3 minutes depending on your location.
It is not safe to look at the sun without proper and undamaged eye protection during the eclipse.
