@PhDVoice My hot take of the week: more journals should offer letters over full length articles. Long form is still important, but IMO 99% of the time it isn't needed and you just get authors writting fluff to fill out the length.

@AcademicChatter Start writing papers early and often. It will force you to do literature reviews while practicing writing. Sure, none of the early stuff is likely to get published, but it will prepare you for later.
