@rorysutherland Some adults like cars that are extremely beautiful. Not something that looks like somebody tried to build Johnny Cab from a bar of soap.
@time_extend Racing games should be about exquisite handling, not a story that looks like it would be on ITV4 after a Steven Seagal film. Let’s see where they land and I wish them every success.
@heyhey_leo I preferred the online lobby structure of 6 where you could pick a class and be put in a lobby, this GT Sport-derived system of picking from a narrow rotating choice is backward imo
@niccruzpatane From an interview he did with Yanko Design -
“This might come as a surprise. I’ve never really been into cars. I don’t consider myself a typical car guy.”
Not as surprising as you’d think, Chuck. Why couldn’t you be shit at something else you don’t like, like basket weaving
@_xiWc@noobbricks I don’t think somebody can be said to have “dominated” if it comes down to the last race, and you only win that because Massi loads the dice on the final lap.
@InsaneMegaCD@ninjadynamics I’d be sympathetic to this excuse if they didn’t then produce a decade of Ridge Racer games that all handled like absolute tripe. Maybe they were always busy with something else
@BaftyC@DominicMcGregor “Median” is the value that occurs in the middle of a range. Which is meaningless for this conversation. Also the bell curve implies “Mode”.
Ironic to criticise people’s data literacy with a broken chart.
@ForzaHorizon I’m assuming later on the game actually feels like Japan, because first 6 minutes looks like somebody just pulled the lever on the “Make FH game” machine and added a bullet train and pink trees, which would be a real shame. Does it get good from minute 7?
@heidfeldmafia I mean, I quite liked F1 when the cars looked, sounded amazing, and the sport didn’t rely on “push button to overtake”. There’s a reason football teams don’t get to play a gold card where they get a bonus free kick. Modern F1 is broken.
