Temminck’s Stint ✅ at RSPB Marshside on Sunday, showed really well from Nels hide also great to see 5 Male Ruff all in full breeding plumage

Headed over to Glasson a few days ago for the Black Redstart ✅ also had 100+ Whooper Swan + 200+ Golden plover off Moss lane. Large flocks of Godwit, Redshank and Oystercatcher from the lighthouse. Then went for American Wigeon ✅ at Myerscough on way home

Witnessed a very determined male Sparrowhawk today who wouldn’t give up the game of hide and seek with the house sparrows for a good 10 minutes !

Titchwell marsh was next on the agenda, what a day !! Finally got a Jack snipe ✅ but typically didn’t come out of cover for a decent photo.
Other highlights included; Black winged stilt, Spoonbills, Cattle egret, Slav grebe, Marsh harrier, Bittern.

Took a trip to North Norfolk last week, first time visiting the County, what a place !
First stop was Cley marshes to see the Long - billed Dowitcher ✅

Quick stop off at Martin mere to see the Snow goose ✅ A long awaited tick for me

Quick stop off at Nosterfield on the way home from Spurn, managed to get my long awaited tick of a Pectoral Sandpiper ✅ also had the pleasant surprise of 2 Marsh Tits ✅
Other highlights included; Ruff, Dunlin, Golden plover, Cettis Warbler and Red kite

Quick stop off at Blacktoft sands highlights were 7 Snipe, 3 Spotted Redshank, Redshank, 1 Greenshank, 5 Ruff, Dunlin, Bittern, 3 Marsh harrier @Blacktoft_Sands

Spent last weekend at Spurn highlights were Red breasted flycatcher ✅ Firecrest ✅ Yellow browed warbler ✅ Whimbrel, Wheatear, Garden warbler, Redstart, Dunlin, Golden plover, Grey plover and Knot

Got the Wryneck at Rishton res today ✅
Very happy to finally get one as it was my 4th attempt in the last 2 weeks 🤣

Finished the day off at South Gare highlights were Wheatear, Stonechat, Redstart, Pied fly, Ringed plover, Dunlin, Bar-tailed Godwit, Wood sand, Curlew sand, Sparrowhawk and an army of Toadlets crossing the dunes !

A wander around Whitby and the harbour was next, had 3 Purple sandpiper Turnstone, Dunlin and Ringed plover
