I was today's years old learning that Edgar Allen Poe did not die of consumption/tuberculosis... he died of alcoholism and a drug OD.... can someone tell me why, throughout schooling, teachers engrained the tuberculosis myth to all of us?
A reminder that you can reject "The Default Life."
-The Career you're "supposed" to have.
-The Relationship you're "supposed" to stay in even through mistreatment.
-The Beliefs you're "supposed" to believe.
Always recognize your ability to change any circumstance.
Why does society seem so uncomfortable with ideas that challenge its current understanding of reality?
Some of the greatest discoveries in history were once ridiculed, mocked, or dismissed outright. How do we know the next world-changing idea won't receive the exact same treatment?
I wrote a piece exploring pseudoscience, skepticism, spirituality, scientific progress, witch trials, and humanity's tendency to mistake certainty for wisdom.
I would love to know what you think of my findings!
My essay is titled, "The Real Pseudoscience Might Be Intellectual Rigidity."

Our nervous systems are completely and utterly ruled by blue light. Every screen, every wavelength…. When we throw away the devices, you get a semblance of what life used to be like. It’s all the radiation around us constantly.
Someone said on TikTok they think we’re all dead cause why do everything feel artificial or weird. Time is weird, food is weird, sleep is weird, public places are weird, nothing feels the same like it was before 2020. I find this to be interesting because I have felt the same for quite some time and although I don’t believe that we are all dead my theory is one or two things, I believe we either entered a black hole or CERN is messing with our reality and this is why “covid” took place. I know collectively we are going through major shifts but I don’t think the energy should feel this “simulated”, if that makes sense. It’s been entirely too many glitches in the matrix lately.
Either way this reality is collapsing.
@LegendaryEnergy Strange reactions in your comment section. Regardless if people want to put her in the “grifter box” she’s incredibly articulate and delivers information in a way many could only imagine to. I agree with you.
