@the_real_gart Maybe, but there’s no doubt that his ambition would be to get there. I’d be gutted if he left. But couldn’t fault him leaving for a club ready to go for it now. He deserves that opportunity. We are more of a longer term project and that’s fine.
IF Mous goes it doesn’t have to be someone’s fault. If his ambition is to manage in the prem in 2 years, but ours is to get to the prem in 5 years, that doesn’t mean the club lacks ambition. Thats still steady and sustainable growth. Mous would just be ready to go sooner. #pompey
Both #pompey and #oufc can be positive I’d say. Great result for us, Lang/Bishop - class, Poole and Shaugh - rocks, Segecic - exciting. Oxford will score loads with their set peices. Mills - threat. Lanks- Stong, great foil for Pralic. BDK will impact. Good signs for both teams
Last week if someone had offered me 6 points from Middlesbrough, Stoke and West Brom I would have taken it. Focus turns to Millwall. It’s a bad loss today, but that’s all it is. Onto the next #pompey
Quick reminder to everyone slating Pack; he’s been CB for 4 of our 5 wins the year, whilst playing out of position at 33. He’s the club captain who’s led us back to the championship. Show him some respect #pompey
@PompeyNewsNow It’s so easy to play the bigger man card when the decisions have wrongly gone your way. You’ve just been given a penalty for a foul outside the box. Of course you’re going to ‘radiate’ calmness. You’re hardly going to be the one getting upset.
Yengi, Lang, Farrell, Shaughnessy all hopefully back soon. Then not only does our starting 11 feel stronger, our options off the bench to effect the game also become stronger. It’s a long season, with plenty still to look forward to 🔵🔵🔵
#pompey were the better team yesterday. Shame we didn’t win, but we won’t be the only team this season to be the better team and not win. We’ve seen enough from an injury depleted squad to see we’ll win games this season. Back Mous, keep the faith.
If Cumming hadn’t pulled off three great saves, we didn’t have one off the line, or Ogs header was an inch to the left, we win. And today has a completely different feel to it
@alex_crook Completely disagree. I don’t think you can say he hasn’t been given the tools. We’ve competed with all three relegated teams this season despite an injury pile up. Last night was awful no doubt. But all teams have bad games. I don’t blame Mous either for the record.
@mrandrewmoon s tweet was 19s old and had 30 likes 😂 how many Pompey fans have spent the last week refreshing his feed waiting for this tweet. One right here to be fair
