@sarajpetersons @StaciAllmaras I think this is so important! It’s one thing to bring in new ideas and implement them, but seeing them carried out and utilized properly is even more important. Getting one or two PD sessions and none to monitor progress after than has not been effective in my experience.

@erin_gerr Agreed! I love the idea of administration working with teachers for professional development. In my experience it makes the PD so much more relevant to what I need for my teaching. The best PD I’ve ever had has come from colleagues.

@brandon_zylstra My understanding is it was either St. Thomas leaves, or 2-4 other schools were leaving. Which would put the MIAC at risk of losing it’s automatic qualifier (football). The competitor in me agrees it’s sad but really this option is better for the MIAC as a whole.
