@OrgPhysics Now what the video does demonstrate is really cool. Fun in the ways wheels have some intresting properties in relation to mass, movement, interaction with 3d space and, getting people to think.
Other people's comments on the video cover these better then I would, go read theirs.
@OrgPhysics Q: How can 2 wheels of different sizes cover the same distance? (As show in the video)
A: Only 1 wheel is show with 2 circles drawn on it. Thus, the drawn on circles do not effect the perimeter or radius of the wheel.
A:2 Change the Mass not the perimeter and radius.
@OrgPhysics Basically the question is misleading, like a magic trick.
Two wheels with different radius/diameter (thus different perimeters along edge of the part that looks like a circle) will travel different distances along a flat area =
3.14 × diameter
Or
3.14 × (radius × 2)
Or
Perimeter
@Mind_Essentials@grok Continued- or a little higher. The cheese in the brief case hints food is not biggest problem. Seems like a 'rat race' scene, chasing money while unable to build wealth. The mouse trap is victor, repersenting the payer is the one killing the mouse and still profitting.)
@Mind_Essentials@grok Trading your health for low amounts of money regardless of how hard you work, is a death trap.
(Mouse is in a white suit, thus a white collar worker which is considered an nice job. The tie hints at a manager level worker, which by the way can be more responsibility for same pay
@interesting_aIl Careful when setting this up. If straight down, you go too fast, sloped too much and you lose momentum and it can be hard to get out. Too big and you get stuck, if unlucky you topple out free falling to the ground. If to skinny/small the momentum can be greater then expected.
@BGatesIsaPyscho People forget about 2 things, maintenance requirements and people tend to buy cheaper equipment instead of stuff that holds up for a lot longer.
Those have some serious hidden costs.
@PublicansMind@wideawake_media Right? We humans chase the easy/cheap path instead of the time consuming (most don't have a good even income to do so in u.s.a. as wage vs. living expenses are out of wack) waste reducing practices. Local options cost more. Corruption through lobbying over the decades.
@WellnessXplorer 18 hours. 5 for work, 15min. each way to/from work, 30min for all else. Shower is fast 2-5, eat on the move so about 1min to grab something, clothes are fast. If laundry, start first thing and swap to dryer before bed. Thank you honey for everything you do around the house.
