@jaymart222 The Show Up, Turn Out 501c4 in 2021 was an alternate model; it was one of many that have been tested & worked. Question is whether or not gas goes in the tank; vehicles don’t move without some gas.
AI worker protections passed by Congress:
AI rules won by unions:
❌No forced AI use to take someone's job (IATSE)
❌No body scans w/o consent/pay (SAAG-AFTRA)
❌No AI slop rewrites (WGA)
❌No AI firings (CWA)
✅6mo health/pension if displaced (CU)
✅Mandatory bargaining pre-rollout (HTC)
The strongest protections against AI at work have not come from Congress, nor have they come from lawsuits - no. Without question, they've come from collective bargaining by organized labor. My new essay for @monthly (feat. Hanumankind & Elf-on-a-Shelf) https://t.co/Hspwo7Iar7
Our debate is tonight — on NY1/Spectrum 1, streaming for free online and on YouTube.
Tune in and learn why I’m the candidate backed by labor unions, working families, and elected officials to be New York’s State Comptroller.

“There is no city in America — and perhaps none on earth — more exposed to both the promise and peril of artificial intelligence than New York City.” https://t.co/rgjaFkrVQw
No one believes me when I say this, but the decline in reading is already having dire consequences for art & culture. The media you loved in your youth—shows, albums, films—was made by artists who were widely read. You will not have that quality of art in a post-literate world.
When schools in NYC, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse and Yonkers were underfunded I fought and helped win them the aid they deserved.
Thank you Syracuse City Auditor @alexandermarion for your support, and highlighting the work we’ve done together to make New York a better place.
Proud to be the labor candidate — and deeply honored to have the support of the workers and unions fighting every day for working families. Let's bring it home! #LaborStrong
identity crisis about to hit hard everyone who values themselves based on their job, white collar job that they worked really hard to get - and it’s automated now
So I’m opening a beer garden just in time for the World Cup!
But it’s more than that… live music, games, bingo, events, car shows, food, and fun. Come check us out this summer!

As State Comptroller, I fight for working people and stand with the labor unions that represent them and the union movement.
This endorsement by the @NYSAFLCIO is the strongest validation that I am the candidate to champion the needs of our state’s working families.
A crazy statistic:
Robert Moses built 650 playgrounds in NYC in 26 years
Thats a new playground every other week … for 2 and a half decades. And these playgrounds are still some of the best in the US
It’s an unfathomable level of competence for a public servant today. Even if it was the only thing someone did.
