2) We need to look at the climate crisis as an emergency, as we are doing with the tariffs. Except that when we reach the tipping point on climate change, it will be too late for counter-measures. We need to respond now.
(1/2) Two thoughts about the current political environment:
1) I hope through what we are facing with the U.S., we gain a better appreciation about how Indigenous Peoples feel about the loss of their lands and use that to advance meaningful reconciliation.
Proud to be supporting @erickalneus to be the next Mayor of Montreal. She is putting forward bold ideas to solve real problems, like a congestion tax to invest the profits in public transit for those who need it most, and a Montreal that is more walkable, compassionate and fun.
These guys are so stupid. Trump is a guy. If you want to get a win for the guy, than you support all of his messages, including the one where he wants to make Canada the 51st state. @usahockey needs to get its story straight.
I'll be calling our GREAT American Hockey Team this morning to spur them on towards victory tonight against Canada, which with FAR LOWER TAXES AND MUCH STRONGER SECURITY, will someday, maybe soon, become our cherished, and very important, Fifty First State. I will be speaking before the Governors tonight in D.C., and will sadly, therefore, be unable to attend. But we will all be watching, and if Governor Trudeau would like to join us, he would be most welcome. Good luck to everybody, and have a GREAT game tonight. So exciting! PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP
Canada is not a perfect country. We have lots to improve. However what we are currently facing is one of the most vile people of all time repeatedly threatening international law and if being “proud to be American” means giving a platform to that, we don’t need you here.
I wonder how Toronto Maple Leafs captain Auston Matthews, Ottawa Senators captain and player Brady Tkachuk and Jake Sanderson, and Winnipeg Jets players Connor Hellebuyck and Kyle Connor, who all live in Canada, feel about this? Maybe they want to go back go back to the US?
