A Virgin Voyages LGBTQ cruise was denied entry to both Turkey and Egypt.

After being turned away by Turkish authorities, organizers rerouted the ship to Egypt...only to be denied entry there as well.

NEWSNATION: “You spend a lot of money. You book the vacation of a lifetime. Only to discover the countries on your itinerary don’t want you there.”

“That’s what happened to hundreds of passengers aboard an LGBTQ cruise.”

“The voyage was originally scheduled to stop in Turkey, while Turkish officials declined to allow the ship to dock.”

“So organizers thought, okay, we’ll reroute to Egypt.”
