Is it currently a step too far for Iran to just wipe out Ben Gurion airport (in terms of where we the War currently is)?
The fuel tankers parked in Israel are well within ballistic missile range.
I asked AI this and it was suggested that this would currently be a step too far in terms of provocation?
It would certainly be a lot harder if not impossible for the US to prosecute the War as they are currently are if they were to do this.
What is holding the Iranians back given they seem to be attacking other US bases all across the Middle East - some of which may have been deserted?
@ConnorWHU_ What about trying for Christian Nørgard? DCM alongside a box to box like Mohamadou Kanté or Jordan James and Adeline or Pablo playing in the 10.
@ConnorWHU_ @anabollocks I'd sell him for 85m to be fair (maybe a couple of players like Thwaites and Lacy on loan as well). But if they don't want to pay it then no worries.
@LambeauLeapp@black_42 It’s hardly delusional.
Achane is due a new contract next season. 12.5m a season.
For a team that’s 2-3 years away from competing?
Would he want to sign it even?
And he hasn’t been traded yet. Either they don’t want to or other teams don’t want to.
2nd rounder 2026
2nd-4th rounder conditional 2027
His knee doesnt hold up and the Bears are on the hook for a massive salary cap hit.
Raiders got rid of a top 5 pass rusher and the Ravens effectively did the same thing.
Crosby’s market should now be a buyer’s one not a seller’s.
They overpaid massively for Grady and Dayo and neither has come anywhere close to delivering.
Now they need to use more cap space and draft picks to resolve this issue.
2 terrible FA pick ups can have a terrible effect on a roster.
Good news is the Moore trade was likely a win. Dalman could be swapped out pretty much for McGovern. A little extra.
Dayo and Grady off the books the season after next.
No reason why a combo of Hendrickson and McGovern isn't possible. With restructurings on key assets (players) the Bears can re-sign Byard and some other smaller contracts as well.
And if they get the 3rd round comp picks then suddenly they're looking at having picks 25, 57, 60, 89 + an extra 3rd for the comp. And they may (if the rumour is to be believed) even trade Bagent for a 2nd-3rd rounder!
5-6 picks in the top 100 allows the roster to be infused with new talent.
Could be a really good off-season.
@dwcprodz Connor McGovern? He'd be cheaper. Marginally more expensive than Dalman but probably a 5m+ saving versus what they'd need to pay Linderbaum.
Better in pass pro as well. Capable run blocker.
