@adamtaggart@jasonsm56388711@unusual_whales ~7% CAGR of M2, which is only accelerating. Treadmill is moving too fast for the average Gen Z to keep up. Tack on student debt, and it’s a fool’s errand. Young men withdraw, young women turn to OF, IG, etc. If past gens faced these same realities, the reaction would be the same.
Like guns, AI is a tool. Your calls for regulation are rooted in fear. No different than the average liberal who wants to outlaw guns.
AI is emphasizing the obsolescence of our current education system. Maybe best to channel our energy there?
History says banning yourself from embracing new technologies is akin to "shooting yourself in the foot".

@theRealDanVCFA @Budgetdog_ We’re at ~1% global adoption, what happens to purchasing power of BTC if we get to 5%? 10%? 50%? Are the “big” gains behind, or ahead of us?
The “aha” moment with #bitcoin, for me, came when I finally grasped the idea of property rights & why they are vital to a civilization.
With money being one’s highest form of property, it doesn’t take much from this inflection point to understand the value prop of #bitcoin.
I think this is a better starting point for newbies as opposed to “what is money”.
At a very high level….
The System- Government issued & controlled money
Them- Those who control the money and/or benefit most from government controlled money.
Us- Anyone who likely does not benefit from government controlled money & would like to see a separation of money & state just as there was a separation of church & state.
The Bitcoin Blockchain reduces the economic impact of government by introducing a reliable monetary policy (which must be followed by all market participants) & makes obsolete the primary service of private banks (i.e. keeping a ledger).
IMO, it’s a noble cause & maybe one that shouldn’t be dismissed so quickly (i.e. the tulip reply guys).
@GeorgeGammon@henricoso Appreciate all of your content. However, why is the “Bitcoin community” responsible for policing itself in your opinion? Sure, new technologies bring excitement, fear & greed, I’m sure much like the early internet. BTC is an objective asset, independent of any “community”.
