Work matters. Today, Nebraska will become the first state in the country to implement Medicaid work requirements. This is an effort — in partnership with @POTUS and @DrOzCMS — designed to help able-bodied Nebraskans get back on their feet.
Welfare should be a hand up, not a hand out, and this will encourage able-bodied adults to join the workforce — and ultimately help these folks know that their contributions to our state make a difference.
We have extraordinary careers just waiting for extraordinary people. 🇺🇸
