Today, as Chairman of the Georgia Republican Party, my heart swells with profound relief, unyielding gratitude, and a fierce sense of vindication for our brave patriots who have endured this dark chapter far too long. Pete Skandalakis, Executive Director of the Prosecuting Attorneys’ Council of Georgia, has done what justice demanded: dismissing this sham, politically weaponized criminal case against President Donald J. Trump, Georgia GOP Chairman David Shafer, and our steadfast contingent of 2020 Presidential Electors.

These were not criminals—they were Americans exercising their constitutional rights in the face of an election rife with irregularities, casting lawful votes for the leader who appeared to be the true victor.

For years, this hoax has torn at the fabric of our families, our party, and our state. It has inflicted unimaginable pain on good men and women who simply stood for truth and transparency. David Shafer, a tireless warrior for Georgia Republicans, has faced relentless attacks on his reputation, his livelihood, and his legacy—all for daring to defend our democracy. Our electors—ordinary Georgians with extraordinary courage—have lived under this cloud, their lives upended by baseless accusations from a rogue prosecutor whose motives were as transparent as they were corrupt.

And President Trump, the fighter who put America first, has borne the brunt of this witch hunt with the same unbreakable spirit that inspires us all.

Let us never forget the toll this has taken.

The Georgia Republican Party poured millions—yes, millions of dollars—from our hard-earned resources into defending these heroes. Donor dollars meant for building our future, for electing more conservatives, for strengthening Georgia’s voice in Washington—diverted to pay top-tier lawyers battling endless motions, depositions, and delays in a courtroom circus designed to bankrupt and break us.

Every check we wrote was a testament to our unwavering commitment: We will not abandon our own. We will not let radical leftists silence the will of the people. Those funds represented the sweat and sacrifice of thousands of everyday Republicans who believed in this fight, who rallied, who donated, who prayed for the day truth would prevail. And today, it has.

This dismissal is more than a legal victory—it’s a soul-stirring affirmation of resilience. It’s a reminder that righteousness endures, that the light of justice pierces even the deepest shadows of partisan persecution.

Incredibly, Smyrna Is Fabulous/Smyrna Pride pretended last week to accept @GeorgiaLogCabin ‘s application to participate in their event in June permitted by the @SmyrnaNews — turns out they have a slew of conditions to further restrict freedom of speech and association.

So our lawyers have responded appropriately to simply ask Georgia and federal law be followed here.

It is incredible how left wing groups always want to claim the mantle of inclusivity but have zero interest in including anyone with a different opinion.
