@woolworths I was advised this was a once off and wouldn’t happen again. Today, I went to the Hawthorn store where they told me the exact opposite where it was no issue for the St Kilda (or any other store) to accept the return / exchange. Can you please confirm what your policy is?

@woolworths Purchased chicken from your Hawthorn store yesterday. When I opened it, it was clearly off and smelt of rotten egg gas. I live closer to your St Kilda store I attempted to return it last night where your in-store staff told me I had to go back to the Hawthorn store.

@woolworths I find this totally unacceptable - this is a food safety issue, which could put someone in hospital or give them food poisoning. Begrudgingly, after I raised the safety issue, your staff exchanged the product (and charged me the price difference!).
