There are some basic fundamental obligations during disasters and it sure seems like a lot of people would rather pass the buck than deal with them. Meanwhile, normal people suffer.
Picked up the best translated copy I could find of “The Last Ringbearer” and it’s actually a lot of fun. It’s LotR from the orcs’ perspective. Sauron was clearly the good guy, right?
@BethanMay@JoannaClaire_S @AnnaSmithWrites There may be but I don’t know of it. Querying is very much a fire and forget thing for me. Only way to stay sane during it.
@DaveMishkin@BoltsRadio@TBLightning Grats on the novel, Dave! I’m a longtime listener and a full-time as an author since 2018. If you have any publishing questions, let me know!
@BethanMay@JoannaClaire_S @AnnaSmithWrites Wait, you mean toiling in the query trenches all alone isn’t the only way to do it? But Beth, it’s all I know!
So, sorry to say, I don’t have any recs. (Though I’ll always shout out r/PubTips on Reddit because they have great info on query formatting and do critiques.)
- I know my title is spelled correctly
- I’ve typed this title a million times while querying
- It’s spelled correctly
- I know it is
- It’s definitely spelled correctly
- Right?
- Hey Google…
Taking a class on pinball maintenance and repair and 1. it’s awesome. 2. scratches an itch my liberal arts education never has 3. is the first time I’ve been in a classroom in years and that feels weird.
Big shout out to @TGPHouston for putting it on!
